At ASRaudio we have over 30 years experience working in the fields of audio preservation and oral history.

We transfer recordings from old formats so that they can once again be listened to and enjoyed. We run various training courses including oral history and sound carrier conservation. We carry out work for members of the public, museums, libraries, archives and businesses etc. In fact anyone involved with audio.

We also carry out assessments of the state and conservation needs of collections and their storage environments as well as preserving deteriorated sound carriers.

If you are planning an oral history project or applying for funding and want to discuss it do give us a call, even if it’s only to ask for advice.

We can also undertake oral history interviews on your behalf.
